Recycling cans is getting bigger these days. The economy has dictated a surge in canned foods as opposed to fresh. When we say ‘cans’ we are referring to all types (ferrous and non-ferrous metals). In example; both tin and aluminum as well as any other types of metal. Just drop your cans in the bins provided, knowing with each drop that you are doing your part in keeping America beautiful, and we’ll take care of the rest. Recycling cans is one of those processes where any help in tearing paper labels off is greatly appreciated as this is the state they must be in for recycling.

Recycling plastic for our sake refers to plastic #1 and plastic #2. The number ‘1′ or ‘2′ will be on the bottom of the plastic container.
Plastic #1: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE)
Common uses: 2 liter soda bottles, cooking oil bottles, peanut butter jars. This is the most widely recycled plastic and often has redemption value under the California "Bottle Bill."
Plastic #2: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Common uses: detergent bottles, milk jugs.
Milk jugs can stay around for over twenty-five years. Now that’s my idea of garbage sitting in landfills. Just drop in bins and we’ll take care of the rest. Recycling plastic is a great necessity and we thank you for your help!

Glass recycling aids in glass production and the saving of energy. Most glass bottles and jars produced in the United States now contain at least 25% recycled glass – which requires 75% less energy to produce than glass made from new materials.
