When we say ‘cans’ we are referring to all types (ferrous and non-ferrous metals). In example; both tin and aluminum as well as any other types of metal. Just drop your cans in the bins provided, knowing with each drop that you are doing your part in keeping America beautiful, and we’ll take care of the rest. Recycling cans is one of those processes where any help in tearing paper labels off is greatly appreciated as this is the state they must be in for recycling.

Plastic #1: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE)
Common uses: 2 liter soda bottles, cooking oil bottles, peanut butter jars. This is the most widely recycled plastic and often has redemption value under the California "Bottle Bill."

Plastic #2: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Common uses: detergent bottles, milk jugs.

Milk jugs can stay around for over twenty-five years. Now that’s my idea of garbage sitting in landfills. Just drop in bins and we’ll take care of the rest. Recycling plastic is a great necessity and we thank you for your help!

Glass recycling aids in glass production and the saving of energy. Most glass bottles and jars produced in the United States now contain at least 25% recycled glass – which requires 75% less energy to produce than glass made from new materials. Important to note that even small amounts of some materials mixed in with glass can contaminate entire loads. Find out what types of glass cannot be recycled below.

What Not To Recycle

Not all glass can be recycled. Glass recycling is not recommended for the following items, thus they should not be placed into your recycling bin:

Ceramics, such as dishware, ovenware, and decorative items

There are no waste products in the process making aluminum a 100% renewable resource and one of the best things you can recycle. Within sixty days a can that’s gone through the aluminum recycling process is able to go from your recycling center and become a brand new can to be used by consumer.
